Location
The Little House Wayside Cabin
Located seven miles northwest of the village of Pepin, Wisconsin on Pepin County Road CC is the “Little House Wayside” that includes a re-creation of Laura’s 1867 birthplace.
The log cabin is a likeness of the now-famous “Little House in the Big Woods.” It paints a charming picture of the place where Laura was born.
The wayside is maintained during the warm months. There are picnic tables and limited restroom facilities onsite. No running water or electricity. Due to a threshold at the entrance to the cabin, it is not accessible for wheelchairs at this time.
