Living History

During the second full weekends of the summer months, a very special event takes place at the Wayside Cabin on County Road CC in rural Pepin.
Reenactors furnish the little cabin and bring the daily traditions of 19th-century American pioneers back to life!
A great learning opportunity for all ages, the reenactors demonstrate the arts of log cabin living in the 1870s.
Observe, ask questions, and join in the rhythms of Laura Ingalls’ early life.
